AdvancedMC carrier for rugged AdvancedMC modules

Special AdvancedMC carriers are required if you also wish to use rugged AdvancedMC modules in AdvancedTCA systems. Unlike standard AdvancedMC carriers, these carriers must provide an option for screwing on rugged AdvancedMC modules.

However, standard AdvancedMC modules can also be used without restriction.

That said, the space taken up by the screw points means that there is less space for the modules. A maximum of 3 single modules, or 1 double and 1 single module, can be used. AdvancedMC standard carriers support a maximum of 4 single modules, or 2 double modules, or a combination of 1 double and 2 single modules.

Increasing the front panel stability

To make the front panels more stable, newly developed die-cast end covers have been used on the mid-size carrier, for example.
