Front panels, shielding and handles

The shielded side panels of the new plug-in units PRO are now U-shaped and equipped with an EMC textile gasket. The U-shape of the front panel also increases the stability of the plug-in unit PRO.

If necessary, the shielding can be further upgraded. To this end an additional groove was integrated in the depth of the extrusion into which an EMC round cord can be fitted.

The junction between cover plate and rear panel becomes a conductive connection by means of cast parts which are hooked onto the cover respectively base plate, top and bottom, which then are bolted to the rear panel. This improves the EMC shielding and provides additional stability in horizontal direction.
