The cover and base plates of the plug-in unit PRO are NOT bolted to the extruded side panels; instead they are inserted in grooves, which considerably facilitates assembly.

The rear panel as well as the cover and base plates are made of 1.5 mm sheet steel, which provides the necessary stability even in larger plug-in units. The rear panel is flat, which makes it easy to machine.

A further advantage for the assembly of the new plug-in unit PRO is the use of screws with
Torx®-drive system instead of cross-head screws. Torx screws are more suitable for power bolting as more force can be applied and the screws are easier to position.
