Mr Stirpe has occupied the position of Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Schroff since January 2009. The 43-year-old will continue to perform this function. The combining of these two roles into a single position is expected to further strengthen the customer-centred orientation of the company in Europe.

"It is our goal to increase the effectiveness in the market of our undisputed engineering competence", Daniel Stirpe states. "This involves allowing the needs of our customers to influence product development in specific ways and to orientate our sales activities still more strongly to specific market segments. Against the background of the current economic situation, Schroff will continue to profit from being a part of the Pentair group with its worldwide activities."

Before coming to Schroff/Pentair, Mr Stirpe was Director of Sales and Marketing at Hewlett Packard within its Enterprise Storage & Servers organisation. During his 16 years at HP Mr Stirpe was entrusted with various international sales, marketing and general management tasks that took him for a number of years to Austria, Australia and the USA.
