New IT Infrastructure brochure
In a new brochure Schroff is presenting its latest custom solutions for data centres on more than 20 pages. Titled "IT Infrastructure: Custom Solutions for Sustainable Data Centres", it documents the company's entire palette of products, components and services related to the equipping of data centres.
Flexible IT solutions at a glance
Beginning with a detailed description of the VARISTAR cabinet platform as colocation, server and network cabinet, the brochure goes on to present the comprehensive range of accessories and effective cable management solutions.
The section on cooling gives solutions for the constantly rising demands in this area. Retrofittable cooled rear doors, air/water heat exchangers offering cooling capacities of up to 40 kW per cabinet and full containment with automatic sliding doors offer the possibilities of a scalable, modular and efficient cooling system.
The 'Retrofit' containment concept is particularly interesting, offering the possibility of adding a containment housing to existing rows of cabinets to improve energy efficiency in the data centre.
Other pages of the brochure feature the economical power management system and flexible and easily integrated monitoring options such as the retrofittable Inline-Meter that offers simple monitoring of electrical parameters (current, voltage, apparent and real power, etc) at cabinet level.
