Perforated doors in a cooled room
The traditional method in air-conditioned data centres. VARISTAR doors with 78 % open area allow for efficient heat dissipation of up to 7 kW per cabinet.

Cold aisle containment
Roof elements and doors prevent leakage of cold air. The cold air is used entirely for cooling the servers. This reduces energy consumption and also affords you reserves for future computing capacity.

Cold aisle with additional cooling
VARISTAR LHX air/water heat exchanger modules provide additional cold air precisely to requirements: either as a modular addition or as a redundant addition to the room air conditioning.

LHX 20 air/water heat exchanger
VARISTAR LHX 20 gives you a room independent, closed cooling system capable of dissipating up to 20 kW of heat per cabinet. Energy-efficient and very quiet, it is equally at home in an office or in a data centre.

Upgrades to 40 kW
Once the 20 kW limit is reached, this is by no means the end of the story with the VARISTAR. Simply swap out the LHX 20 module for the LHX 40 and double your cooling capacity. And only then when you really need it! |
